Sunil Sachdev

Sunil has 15 years of experience in the alternatives space with a broad background in hedge fund capital raising, capital introductions, prime brokerage and electronic trading sales.  Sunil is currently a Managing Director with VantagePoint Alternative Investments focused on marketing and consulting with hedge funds to assist in their capital raising process.  Most recently, Sunil was the Head of Marketing for Arcadia Capital, an event-driven hedge fund seeded by Macquarie Bank, a $53B global bank and MD Sass, a $7B investment firm.  Prior experience includes a prime brokerage sales and cap intro role at Royal Bank of Canada where he was a Vice President and Newedge, where he was a Senior Vice President focused on business development of hedge fund and CTA relationships.  Prior to migrating to the marketing and sales side, Sunil was the Credit Manager at Newedge, responsible for strategy and operational due diligence of hedge fund/CTA clients. Sunil began his career in Finance as an Associate at J.P. Morgan.  He received his BA in English Literature from State University of New York at Albany.  Sunil holds Series 3, 7, 63 licenses.
